Teaching grammar rules and their role in developing the learner's linguistic competence - First year average model-

Abstract

This study dealt with the role of grammatical rules in developing the linguistic competence of the learner, and the study derived its importance from the importance of grammatical rules that have proven to be effective in several areas in terms of the role they play. The study aims to reveal the role of these rules in helping learners build their learning, consolidate their gains, and develop their abilities to develop the prescribed language ability ,the study reached a set of recommendations, including: Ensuring that the learner acquires the grammatical rules in a standardized manner, and avoiding using a stereotyped method so that the learners do not get bored and alienate from them.
