Abstract

The first Arab scholars reconized the primacy of listening among learners, especially langauage learners. Being a natural talent, it is classy among humans. After the development of science and spicialized studies, including methods of education in general; Teaching the Arabic language in particular, reserchers have given great importance to the skill of linguistic listening and have studied its role in developing the linguistic abilities and competencies of learners,and delved into its implications in theory and application.

 We see the presence and role of this skill in modern educational curricula in developing of Arabic language, as well as foreign languages, and its importance in developing the learner's communicative competencies. The study here works to demonstrate the compatibility between educationallinguisticlistening in his cognitive pragmatics by adopting data of theory of mental fields. in order to demonstrate the important role of the mental fields available to the listening learner within the educational / learning process
