Abstract

The study aimed to identify and evaluate the quality of pharmaceutical care service in
pharmacies in the city of Oum El Bouaghi. The study used the descriptive analytical approach, and
the research population included patients benefiting from pharmacies in Oum El Bouaghi city,
where the study sample consisted of 390 patient beneficiaries selected by a random sampling
method. The study wich used a questionnaire to collect data, found that there is a statistically
significant difference between the level of pharmaceutical quality care services providing from the
customers point of view and the expected service level in terms of safety, responsiveness, reliability
and empathy. In light of these results, the study recommends that pharmacists must commit to the
continuous care of patients by providing medications in real time, and that the health system must
develop recognized methods for practicing pharmaceutical care, and give priority to the pharmacy
profession.
