Call for Book Submissions

Oum El Bouaghi University Press is pleased to announce that we are now accepting book submissions for publication. We are dedicated to producing high-quality academic publications and offer comprehensive support to authors throughout the publishing process.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Initial Approval: Authors must first obtain approval from their respective Faculty/institution Scientific Board.

  2. Submission Package: Submit an electronic package to press@univ-oeb.dz, which includes:

    • A publishing request detailing the book.
    • An excerpt of the decision from the Scientific Board.
    • A Word document folder of the book's texts, organized by book elements.
    • A PDF version of all book contents.
    • A brief summary of the book (maximum 100 words) for the cover.
    • A folder of images and figures, arranged and numbered as they appear in the book, adhering to our technical specifications.

  3. Formatting Requirements:

    • Book Size: Maximum of 500 pages. If exceeded, the book should be divided into two parts.
    • Page Size: 17 × 24 cm.
    • Margins: Use Mirror Margins. Top, bottom, and outer edge: 2 cm. Binding side: 3 cm.
    • Header: Specific formatting requirements for Arabic and foreign language books.
    • Page Numbering: Different styles for pre-chapter and main content.

  4. Templates Provided:

    • Cover Design: Managed by the publishing house.
    • Inner Cover Page and Copyright Page: Also managed by the publishing house.
    • Additional Elements: Including the table of contents, figures and tables lists, author information, dedications, acknowledgments, introduction, chapter separators, footnotes, tables, images, equations, references, glossary, and appendices.
