Trade openness is an entry point for economic integration and regional economic protection
Abstract
This paper aims to study the relationship between trade openness and economic integration and its role in protecting countries' economies. The study was divided into three ideas: the concept and importance of international trade, trade openness as a driver of economic conglomerates and the protection of economies, and then how conglomerates can be a way to achieve economic integration.
The study concluded by affirming the positive role of trade openness in promoting international cooperation, protecting States' economies from shocks and achieving economic integration.
