The role of foreign investment in supporting the movement of the financial market between reality and expectations an analytical study of the Jordanian stock market during the period 2009-2022

Abstract

Through our research, we aim to identify the role of foreign investment in supporting the movement of the Jordanian financial market, as we relied on two indicators, the market capitalization and trading volume, and we concluded that despite the declines in the market capitalization, the percentage of foreigners’ contribution to this value remained fairly stable, despite the fluctuations in the trading volume, the percentage of foreign trading reached 32%, which indicates the confidence of foreign investors in the Jordanian trading market.
