Requirements for Algerian companies to use cloud computing in their accounting practices - a field study

Abstract

The major aim of this study is to determine the requirements for adopting cloud accounting in Algerian companies. To achieve this aim, we have designed and distributed a questionnaire on 108 individuals of professionals and academics of financial accounting in Algeria, and analyzed the data collected using the SPSS program. The study concluded that there are several technical, regulatory and legislative requirements for adopting cloud accounting in Algerian companies, and the most important thing it recommended is to begin embodying the project to provide the Internet via satellite technology on the ground.
