Abstract

The study aims to compare and evaluate the financial performance of the pharmaceutical sector in terms of the nature of ownership. We followed the descriptive analytical approach to study Saidal company and Biopharm company by using the calculation of financial ratios for both groups from 2011 to 2022.

The study concluded that both companies are distinguished by good financial performance, but Biopharm’s private company outperformed their competitor Saidal’s public company. However, the objectives of institutions differ depending on the ownership type, which causes differences in performance
