Abstract

This research aimed to shed light on the issue of the knowledge economy and its impact on economic growth in some Arab countries (2000-2021), where four independent variables were selected, the enrollment rate in: higher education, schools, the rate of Internet users, commercial openness. In addition to GDP as a dependent variable, static Panel models were relied up on in the estimation process.

              It concluded that the percentage of Internet users and commercial openness had a positive impact, while the enrollment in higher education had a negative effect, and as for the indicator of enrollment in schools, it had no effect on economic growth.
