Peer Review Process

JFCG follow the Peer Review System which can be shown below with Details:

Submission

Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and you will be guided stepwise to the uploading of your article. which is used in the peer-review process. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail.

you can submit your article using the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform (ASJP) online system (https://www.asjp.cerist.dz).  You can access the relevant submission system via the "submit your paper" link on the JFCG home page on the ASJP via: (https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/en/submission/464).

Note that the submission process obliges Authors to have an Author account on the ASJP, inscription on the ASJP via: (https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/signup), if you have already an account please login (https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/en/login).

Plagiarism Check

 The article is passed through plagiarism check using TURNITIN , if it is less than 20% the article will transfer to Editorial Review, else the article return to author for corrections.

Editorial Review

The Editor-in-Chief evaluate if the article is within the journal's scope and it has sufficient quality to send out to peer review. If not, the article may be rejected without being reviewed any further.

Double-Blind Peer Review

At this phase, the article will be sent to 2 Reviewers (or 3). The Editor-In-Chief will properly anonymize the manuscript, and  ensure that at least one of the reviewers is an external reviewer. 

Decision

The Editor-In-Chief considers all the returned review reports before making an overall decision. If the reviews differ widely, the editor may invite a third reviewer so as to get an extra opinion before making a decision.

Editor Final Decision

The ASJP editorial system permit to the Editor-In-Chief to get the reviewers decision, and make a main decision (Accept, Reject, Accept with rivision) based on the reviewers recommendations.

The Editor-In-Chief will communicate the decision of the review report to the author via ASJP online System. The  Editor-In-Chief will mention the time period given to the Author to resend the revised manuscript.

Publication

If the manuscript accepted to be published, the Editor-In-Chief will send the accepted articles which selected to apear in the next issue to the journal secretary for format editing and proofreading. After, articles will be published on the ASJP  and on the JFCG website.
