Diglossia and Bilingualism in Modern Arabic Research and Studies

Abstract

Multilingualism is defined as (the use of two or more languages by a person, or in a specific linguistic community) and this multilingualism takes two forms :bilingualism and Diglossia, and the meditator in modern Arabic research and studies finds a clear difference in the statement of the limit of each of them, the term Diglossia has appeared in some modern Arabic research and studies mixed with the term bilingualism, and overlapping with it, so the term duality the two terms and the reasons for this difference .
